Board Meeting

January 19, 2009

Held at Lund Fire Dept.

Present: Roger Stewart Chairman, Lindsay Bergquist 2^nd Supervisor, Pat Scharr Clerk & Sharon Stewart Treas. Joe Edlin is on his way.

Meeting called to order @ 7:05pm by Roger Stewart

1. Patty read minutes from the December 15, 2008, meeting. Lindsay made a motion to approve the minutes Roger seconded.

2. Treasurer’s report read by Sharon; Total assets on November 30, $14,754.10 total deposits in December were $67,781.74 total disbursements for December $2,131.00 for a balance of $80,404.84 on Dec. 31. We also received the General Transportation air on Jan. 05, 2009 in the amount of $9,062.46 and a check for the remainder of the Bridge aid for $1,682.33 to give us a balance of $91,149.63. Lindsay made a motion to approve, Roger Seconded Treasures report approved. Sharon also shared that the December collection of property taxes was $115,628.66, the disbursements from that are ; State $856.51, County $33,085.00, Pepin School $66,347.68, Chippewa Valley Vo-Tech $7,985.39 and we retained $7,354.08.

3. Bills for the month, Pepin County Highway Dept. $7,038.98, Durand publishing $25.50, Mary Fayerweather $374.25 for three years of Election Provider work. Lindsay made a motion to pay the bills Roger seconded the motion.

4. Smart Growth Update: Mary Ann Svoboda not able to be here, we will get an update next month.

Joe Edlin came in at 7:15pm.

5. Reviewed the list of building permits given out on 2008.

6. Joe made a motion to adjourn the meeting Lindsay seconded Meeting adjourned at 7:20p.m. Next meeting set for February 16, 2009.
