Board of Review Meeting

Held at Lund Fire Dept.

 

Present: Roger Stewart Chairman, Joe Edlin 1st Supervisor, Sharon Stewart, Treas. 

 

Meeting called to order @ 7:15pm by Roger Stewart,

 

Joe made motion to open the BOR Roger seconded. 

 

Joe made motion to postpone the BOR until June 25, 2009

 

Roger seconded.  Open book will be held on Thursday June 25, 2009 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

 

at the Lund Fire Hall.  BOR will follow from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

 

Joe made a motion to adjourn Roger seconded. BOR Adjourned at 7:15pm.

 

Regular Board meeting called to order @ 7:15pm by Roger Stewart

 

1.      Minutes from the April 27, 2009 meeting read by Patty, Joe made motion to approve minutes Roger Seconded.

 

2.      Sharon read treasurer’s report.  Total assets on March 30, 2009, 21,819.08, Total Deposits for April $12,224.67, total disbursements in April $2,947.14, April 30, balance was $31,096.61. Money Market account balance on April 30, 2009 $5,771.19 total Assets $36,867.80. Plus the CD of Joe made a motion to approve the treasurer’s report Roger seconded.

 

3.      Road Discussion:  Rock was hauled on the roads that needed it, and the turn a rounds at Bill Bohers, and Lawson lane were put in For the Snowplow as discussed at the 2008 annual meeting, also the culvert on Long Lane was added on to and a new culvert on Orlin Lane was put in.

 

4.      Bills for the month:  Durand Publishing for $130.57, Pepin County Highway Department $1,437.41, The Kraemer Co. $132.04, WI Dept of Revenue $300.00 for Walsh assessment change from 2008, Edlin Enterprises $287.50 & Mary Fayerweather $45.00 for the April Election. Joe made a motion to approve the bills, Roger Seconded.

 

5.      A public Hearing was called to order for the renewal of Maiden Rock Winery and Cidery’s LLC, Liquor Lic. For the period of July 01, 2009 thru June 30, 2010.  Joe made a motion to renew the license for another year at the same rate as last year $25.00. Roger seconded that motion, all in favor.

 

Joe made a motion to adjourn Roger seconded the motion.  Meeting adjourned @ 7:36pm.  Next meeting date June 25, 2009 following Board of Review.
