Anyone
who feels called to write something up that reflects the Town of Stockholm's future planning-please, please do so and we
will try to put it all together at our next meeting:
March 21
at 4pm.
Thanks, Robbi
The Future Vision Committee of the Town Stockholm has met twice and will meet again on Saturday, March 21st, at 4pm at the home of Ted and Robbi, N2956 Anker Ln. Participants to date include: Robbi Bannen, Cindy Berquist, John Demma, Ed Fenholz, Ted Fisher, Rick Linder, Jody Scharr, Roger Stewart,Tim Svaboda and Jane Whiteside.
Our discussions have centered around our desire to preserve the rural character of our township, the balance or local control and individual property rights and looking ahead to future needs and trends.
After looking at some of the Comprehensive Plans that our neighboring municipalities have adopted, it is our goal to write a concise and consistent plan for our town board to use.. We all believe that an overly detailed and lengthy plan would be a burden to our township.
Our next meeting is dedicated to coming up with a written rough draft of our segment of the Comprehensive Plan.
